Kindle Fire
I am currently trying to decide on what 7 inch tablet to purchase for my 7 year old daughter for her birthday. I don't want to pay too much and need the device to be able to stream Netflix, as well as download apps and games for her to play. So far my research has led me to the Kindle Fire which seems to be extremely popular and a quality tablet. The 8GB or storage with no micro sd cared slot does concern me but it runs a 1gz dual core processor with a little less than 1gb or RAM. It isn't the most powerful but for the $200 price tag it might be worth it. I am also looking at other options but higher spec 7 inch tabs are almost double the money. I really like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 inch just running WiFi but it is almost as expensive as the Tab 10.1 that I am currently using. Samsung makes great products with powerful processors but I am not willing to spend that amount of cash on a tablet for my daughter. The Kindle Fire or the Nook by Barnes and Noble seem to be the best choices and are both easily rooted and modified, though it does void the warranty, so that they can be used as full fledged Android Tablets running that OS and software. I'm not sure what to do as of right this second but whatever I decide I will write a complete review and let everyone know how well or poorly the device performs and if my daughter likes it or not.
