Check out the trinity kernel thread over on XDA developers as well for anyone looking for a good kernel for the Nexus 7. It does have a supporting app that costs a couple bucks but it is well worth it. This kernel does allow for over clocking for those interested up to 1.6 or 1.7ghz depending on which version of the kernel your using. It has a custom boot animation as well plus a ton of other features like governor control and IO scheduler. Try it out. The kernel developer does support other devices such as the Galaxy Nexus, SGSIII, and others I believe. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1788759
