This tip could save your life depending where your going to serve your time. It should be a common courtesy but inmates ratting on other inmates has become the norm in jail these days. If you see something inside that could get someone into trouble keep it to yourself. Even getting questioned in prison can be detrimental to your health. If something happens to you or you have issues with your cell mate work it out on your own. Only go to the guards if I talk to your Bunkie first and you both agree to try and get a cell move. If you do need to speak with a Corrections Officer bring another innate with you so there is a witness to what the conversation was about. Make sure whoever you bring has a good reputation inside the prison system. If inmates even think you are a snitch your life could be in danger. If this happens you have two options, 1. Check into protective custody so no one has access to you or 2. Deal with it or prove your innocence somehow and hope for the best. If you find yourself in this situation just remember, the guards aren't gonna help you and are not your friends no matter how they may act toward you. Remember where your loyalties lie and that your an inmate not a cop. Just because you see other inmates are talking to the guards and trying to be buddy buddy with them doesn't mean you should too. Keep your distance from snitches and police when inside. Best advice you will ever get. Could save your life one day. Good luck inmate.
