Android governors explained

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2005306

Here is a link over to a thread on XDA developers explaining the use of governors on your Android device be it a tablet or smartphone. The thread is in the HTC Evo 4G section but most of these governors can be found on any number of devices with custom kernels that implement these useful features. The list is pretty extensive and includes such favorites of mine as the Hyper governor and SmartAss V2 governor. Check it out and leave a comment to let me know what governYour Guide to Governorsor your currently using on which kernel! For example I'm running Yoda's kernel on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 using the Hyper governor listed in the link. It has greatly improved the performance of the tablet going from sluggish out of the box to speedy and responsive. I use Task's ICS "the beginning," ROM, which currently isn't being worked on but is still a great ROM none the less. This set up has made my device go from being almost unusable to snappy and very responsive and I highly recommend checking out this article if anyone else out there suffers from lag on they're Android device. If anyone had any questions or needs questions answered leave a comment and I'll post a video tutorial or just explain it in further detail.
