Prison tip of the day.

Ok all my convicted felons or soon to be convicted felons out their. Here is my prison survival tip of the day. It may seem trivial compared to allot of other stuff but prison is cold. Really fucking cold. Especially when your locked up in a maximum security prison. The air is on constantly to keep the temperature low in order to kill germs and eliminate sickness. It is a commonly practiced method but the fact remains that whether it is summer or winter the inside of a prison is always freezing cold. Get yourself some thermal underwear off of commissary or if you are really planning ahead make sure you wear a couple of grey sweatsuits to court on the day of your sentencing under your clothes. The guards and prison officials have to let you bring them in as long as they don't have any pockets or identifiable labels showing. Usually grey, white, or black is acceptable but if I were you I would go with grey because it is a sure thing. There you go. If you want to stay warm during your incarceration plan ahead and when all else fails order what you need off of the commissary or get someone on the outside to send you some clothes in a care package if they are allowed at the time. Care packages usually consist of three pairs of white underwear, t-shirts, and five pairs of white socks. Along with two pairs of thermal tops and bottoms in grey and two sweatsuits in grey as well. Sometimes two towels in white are also permitted but care packages come and go in the state prison system. Sometimes they are allowed and sometimes not so check with your local DOC before getting your family to attempt to find grey sweatsuits with no pockets or labels. Believe me it is not as easy as you would think. Good luck inmates!
