So as anyone who has ever flashed an early version of a ROM for an ARM based System on a chip can tell you there are usually a fair share of bugs and things not working. This is mostly because of issues porting the kernel but with the latest release of the Linux kernel version 3.7 those problems should start to get worked out. The initial list of supported ARM architecture is currently limited at best but as support grows so will development and we will continue to see new improved ROM's running stable kernels that will give us better functionality and overall improvement to our devices. Good news in the land of Android so hit the link and read the article especially for all you developers out there. We need more strong development in the Android community to further grow and improve an already booming after market firmware selection across the entire platform. That way all of us with older devices won't be left out in the cold waiting for our device manufacturer to send the latest Android firmware release as an over the air update that will never come. We now have more options for more devices so we can dive into the forums and flash the custom firmware of our choosing giving us, as consumers, further control over our products. Hey, if you put up your hard earned cash for something you want to be able to get the most out of it and not be limited by software constraints right? Hell YES! So hit the link in the description and check out the latest news and leave a comment below letting everyone know how much better your day is now!
